Very Cool News Posted: August 24, 2006
Today we learnt that the prestigious design e-magazine newwebpick.com has listed this site in its "Very Cool" and in its "This week commend site" sections "...because of the (site's) design and technology". We are delighted with the news, thanks guys! Links to the magazine and companion website can be found on the links section.
This site has also been acknowledged for its design and usability by coollhomepages.com and more recently by masquepremios.com with a Gold award.
Also looking at the site stats I found out that artist.org and arting365.com , both Chinese sites dedicated to the visual arts, found my work of enough interest to include it in their sites
Site down - Good bye dynamic...welcome staticPosted: August 3, 2006
In the past our domain names were pointing to dynamic IP addresses, the ultimate of nasty as far as hosting anything, because the IP addresses tend to change. And as we discovered, confirming once again Murphy's Law, they change at the worst time.
To overcome that problem we attempted to keep updating the IP addresses, however our local DNS server was caching the old address- making it a difficult task for us to figure out if, indeed the address was updated or not.
In the end, we called the Wolf, and he got us a static IP address.
Happy Browsing
Eric
Two new sections added to site Posted: July 26, 2006
This is the first update to the site since going live last month. The inclusion of this update section provides the space for news and is also an archive of previous updates in chronological order.
Also added today is the Drawing section, a display of pencil and charcoal drawings. Most of these drawing are quick sketches (10 to 20 min) from figure drawing classes that I attended this year at Melbourne University Union House. This course is tutored by Mark Ogge, I recommend it to anyone that is seriously interested in figure drawing. You may find more information on these courses at http://www.union.unimelb.edu.au/shortcourses/art.html

More than 10 years after my "1st Australian Exhibition", a group exhibition at the Minstrells Gallery in Williamstown, the time arrived to start working on the second Australian exhibition, these pages will also provide updates on the developments of this project.
